This position is responsible for all aspects of sales, with the majority of time being utilized on new customer acquisition, achieved by engaging channel partners (distributors and VARs in the territory). We are looking for sales professionals that demonstrate excellence in the following:
Plan, organize, and execute a sales plan for the region
Achieve and surpass the sales goal for the region
Develop and communicate an effective strategy for identifying accounts that should be handled directly vs. channel partners
Maintain a strong discipline for using
Submit an accurate monthly forecast for revenue and materials planning
Provide business development in the Region, which includes identification of market areas, strategy for acquisition of potential target areas, and a proactive strategy to penetrate new targets
Handle all leads for the region either directly or through an appropriate channel partner
Success will be measured in terms of sales growth in the region, customer and partner satisfaction, and performance against specific goals that will be assigned by management
Requirements:
The successful candidate shall possess the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree minimum, engineering or technical background preferred
3-8 years minimum experience in a direct OEM sales role
Must be comfortable with cold calling and long sales cycles.
Previous experience with electronic imaging including CCD/CMOS sensor technology, cameras, optics and lighting a strong plus
Excellent inter-personal skills, attention to customer service
Ability to multi-task and possess excellent organizational skills including planning and communication
