eCommerce Project Manager Position Profile: We are seeking to add an eCom IT Project Manager to our team in the Northwestern Suburbs of Chicago, IL to work collaboratively with all stakeholders and functional teams to develop and deliver the Digital Marketing roadmap of projects. Key job responsibilities: Overall responsibility for the delivery of highly complex projects. Create and actively maintain standard project management documentation and taking correction action when needed. Documentation includes, but is not limited to, Project Plan, Issue/Action Log, Risk Log, Change Management Log, Status Report, Stakeholder Log, Communication Plan and Resource Plan. Formulate strategies and tactics for successful on time and on budget project completion. Build and execute a detailed project plan in collaboration with team members. Be responsible for assembling the project team, assigning individual tasks and monitoring/reporting progress taking correction action when needed. Understand risk-based project management and develop appropriate risk mitigation strategies. Manage third party service provider or contractor deliverables. Provide accurate and timely status reports ensuring obstacles to on time and on budget delivery of defined scope are clearly called out with action plan to remediate. Develop a detailed understanding of the business and apply that knowledge in the practical execution of the project. Work with project team to ensure that business requirements are clearly understood. Build and maintain relationships based on corporate values. Adhere to Agile Project Lifecycle Methodology. Celebrate the accomplishment of goals. Requirements: 5-10 years Project Management experience. Must have some eCommerce, but not total immersion. It is critical that you can plan in Agile. Thorough understanding and practical application of Agile methodology. Successful experience as a Project Manager with demonstrated experience managing large, complex projects. Background in eCommerce preferred. Adaptable to varying levels of process maturity. Emphasis on process development and structured execution. Strong written and oral communication skills. Highly skilled at negotiating resolution of issues and obstacles. Ability to resolve conflict and escalate issues as appropriate.
