Information Technology (IT) is seeking a senior software architect to guide, advise, and approve the technical portfolio of projects to be built upon the eBay Inc internal implementation of Microsoft SharePoint Server. This role will also require expertise in integration of SAP R/3 systems, SAP portal, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP Business Objects, and mobile access & delivery of content for all of the aforementioned technologies. Job Requirements The ideal candidate must have the following: · At least 3 years of experience in the role of technical architect for Microsoft SharePoint 2007 and/or 2010. · At least five years of experience as a software architect, preferably for a large enterprise with over 1,000 users. · Proven ability to build custom web parts in Microsoft .NET. · Strong written and verbal communication skills. Additional skills that will enable the ideal candidate to quickly master these new systems are: · At least one year of hands on experience with SAP Portal, preferably Web Dynpro and integration to SharePoint 2007. · At least one year of experience in a project manager, business analyst, developer, or technical architect role delivering and/or supporting business processes utilizing a leading business process management software such as Savvion, PegaSystems, Lombardi, Remedy AR, HP IT Governance, Autonomy Cardiff, . · At least one year of experience in a project manager, business analyst, developer, or technical architect role delivering and/or supporting a document management system such as Documentum, OpenText, Hummingbird, Interwoven/Autonomy, IBM WebShere / Lotus Notes, or SharePoint 2007 document management features. · At least one year of experience in a project manager, business analyst, developer, or technical architect role delivering and/or supporting a business intelligence or data warehouse system such as MicroStrategy, Cognos, or Business Objects. · Integration of mobile devices to SharePoint content or other internal content or systems. · Formal training in ITIL processes and software. · Agile project management techniques.
