Prepaid Marketing Manager
Minimum of 6 years relevant experience.
4 years of wireless financial analysis experience or extensive knowledge and understanding of wireless industry trends and key business drivers.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Bachelor's degree required. Masters degree s position is responsible for development, design and implementation of reporting for the HQ Prepaid team and support increased efficiency, productivity and improved customer experience. Act as single point of contact with IT, Marketing and Regional Channel contacts to support reporting on key business priorities including establishment of consistent request process, metric consistency, best practices and elimination of duplication of effort.
The position will also be required to perform detailed analysis of transactional data to validate strategies and provide business cases for development of project proposals, including risk analysis. Responsible for the creation of professional executive presentations (Powerpoint) on all relevant data/analyses.
Interacts directly with product managers to identify new marketing opportunities, prepares regular marketing activity reports and responds to questions from the sales organization.
Identifies, evaluates and recommends marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives; provides pre- and post-sale marketing support to distributors, OEMs and resellers.
Motivate and train staff to maximize productivity and promote their professional development in a manner consistent with VZW company policies and practices.
Primary Functions/Responsibilities:
• Responsible for development, implementation and communication of reporting analysis that have a high impact on product lifecycle, loyalty, and financial decisions.
• Manage team that generates a standard set of reporting on key metrics for HQ Prepaid product with accountability for data integrity.
• Perform analysis on the results, including, but not limited to, comparing results to previous trends, analyzing and explaining new trends, drawing conclusions, making recommendations.
• Identify opportunities for automating and enhancing existing reports that are produced on a recurring basis
• Develop monthly quality assurance audits to ensure data integrity of automated reporting on an ongoing basis
• Prepare a comprehensive and level-appropriate presentation and summary of the results
• Make recommendations to senior management regarding risks and opportunities based on the analyses performed
• Collaborate with other departments to address reporting concerns and ensure data integrity and common reporting methodologies
• Develop reporting methodologies, identifying proper data sources, including writing free-hand SQL to gather data
• Serve as the subject matter expert for the data in the reports. This position will have full accountability for all work and will be responsible for all projects from beginning to end.
• Research any new reporting topic (ex. new pricing or data products) to gain a full understanding of how the resulting data will flow through the data warehouse for accurate reporting
• Create mock-up reporting packages that outline key business drivers that should be included in the analysis
• Collaborates with numerous functional areas, including Finance, IT, Network, Legal, Marketing Communications, Customer Service and the Areas.
