Press Brake Operator - 2nd shift Location: IN, Indianapolis - Greatbatch Medical Number Needed: 2
Description
The primary purpose of this position is to operate machinery, which includes, but is not limited to, troubleshooting equipment failures and breakdowns, inputting material into machinery when necessary, conducting general maintenance, and documentation.
Essential Job Functions:
· Adheres to Greatbatch Core Beliefs and all safety and quality requirements. · Follows job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. · Operates equipment as instructed by detailed specifications. · Performs minor breakdown or preventive maintenance to equipment when necessary. · Performs minor tooling changes and adjustments as required. · Visually and/or dimensionally inspects parts and/or completed assemblies for conformance to specifications. · Completes required documentation. · Compiles and records data. · Expands skill base through on the job training, cross training and classroom instruction. · Performs other functions as required.
Position Qualifications: · Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent. · Minimum Experience: 1 – 3 years experience operating machinery. · Specialized Knowledge: Strong Computer skills; Ability to read blueprint schematics or diagrams. · Special Skills: Experience working with automated equipment preferred.
