Description:
ProvidesSustainable Range Programs subject-matter expert support at HQ IMCOM. Additional staff with Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM) background is needed to assist inproviding the following support services:
Duties:
•· Assist in developing plans and executing procedures to establish, resource, execute, and monitor the ITAM portion of the Army's Sustainable Range Program across IMCOM, recommending improvements to program efficiency and effectiveness in accordance with AR 350-19, AR 385-63/64, TC 25-1/8, and other applicable guidance.
•· Coordinate within IMCOM and other organizations listed above to support Army efforts related to the ITAM Program. ITAM support includes:
•Ø Coordinate and consolidate Work plan Analysis Module (WAM) range funding program input and maintain IMCOM-level database and access capability
•Ø Coordinate, plan, analyze, and provide expertise for training support environmental issues, concerns, and initiatives with the Army Environmental Center (AEC), to include National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation and other related actions. Maintain situational awareness through the establishment and maintenance of an Environmental Actions database
•Ø Coordinate, plan, analyze, and provide expertise for Land Rehabilitation and Maintenance (LRAM), Range and Training Land Assessment (RTLA), and Army Training & Testing Area Carrying Capacity (ATTACC) program issues, concerns, and initiatives with DA staff, ACSIM and other appropriate agencies. Maintain situational awareness through the development, establishment, and maintenance of an appropriate Land Capacity database
•Ø Coordinate, plan, analyze, and provide expertise for Army Compatible Use Buffer (ACUB) and land expansion issues, concerns, and initiatives with DA staff, ACSIM and other appropriate agencies. Maintain situational awareness through the establishment and maintenance of a Land Actions database
•Ø Coordinate, plan, analyze, and provide expertise for Operational Range Inventory Sustainment (ORIS) issues, concerns, and initiatives with DA staff, ACSIM and other appropriate agencies. Maintain situational awareness through the establishment and maintenance of an ORIS database
•Ø Establish, consolidate, plan, execute, and maintain the IMCOM TSS Geospatial Information System (GIS) program and associated database. Provide special map products in digital, paper, and large format for the branch
•Ø Coordinate and provide support and expertise to installations in executing their ITAM 5-Year Plan, Sustainable Range Awareness (SRA) and Range Outreach programs
Qualifications:
Must have 9-12 Years of Experience in related field.
Extensive knowledge of ITAM and support services.
Must be able to successfully complete a background check.
Secret Clearance or Top Secret Preferred.
