Position Description
GENERAL FUNCTION: Analyzes, defines, develops and implements technical solutions for an application. Functions as technical lead and act as liaison between business units. Provides training, direction and support to team members. Recognized across the organization for applications development expertise and sought as a resource for resolution or strategic contribution of complex application development position is on the Technical/Professional ladder at level 5 in the Applications Development discipline. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Analyzes, codes, tests and documents complex enhancements made to new and/or existing programs. 2. Acts as a technical expert addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility and multiple platform integration. Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects.3. Designs, codes, tests and implements application programs according to client specifications. 4. Develops project plans, work assignments, target dates and other aspects of assigned projects and communicates this information to senior management and the business unit. 5. Responsible for all documentation, development, testing and user acceptance testing.6. Acts as a liaison to define business requirements and/or problems and initiates maintenance of existing programs or designs of a new application. 7. Serves as technical resource for less experience team members.8. Provides 24x7 support to technology team members.9. Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of technology supporting application(s) for a line of business. 10. Other duties as required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Indirect supervisory role of small team. Position Requirements
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Undergraduate degree in computer-related field, with 6-10 years of experience.
