Planning, Supply Chain and Optimization (PSO) group specializes in Planning, Forecasting and Price Optimization Solutions for the Retail vertical. These solutions include Merchandise Financial Planning, Item Planning, Category Management, Assortment Planning, Demand Forecasting, Value Chain Collaboration, Advanced Inventory Planning, Replenishment Optimization, and Markdown Optimization.

An experienced consulting professional who has an understanding of solutions, business processes, or technology designs within a product/technology family.

Detailed Description

Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May act as the team lead on projects. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities.

Job Requirements

5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

Additional Details


Experience:
* 5+ years of retail industry operational experience
* Experience in the implementation of mathmatical, statistical or analytical solutions
* Experience in the configuration of mathmatical, statistical or analytical solutions
* Experience in multi-dimension architecture
* Experience with defining business needs and/or business processes
* Previous consulting and/or participation in medium to large-scale projects preferred
* Experience working with a large systems provider and/or integrator preferred

* Proven thought leader in designing complex software solutions
* Strong verbal presentation and written communication skills
* Ability to identify and proactively solve problems
* Demonstrated time management skills
* Flexible & easily adapts to change
* Ability to travel a minimum of 80%, with possible international travel necessary
