Apptis is looking for a Principal Database Analyst to join our team in Falls Church, Virginia!
Responsibilities:
* Ability to fully comprehend and understand the Business Process Execution Language (BPEL). * Build, Deploy, and demonstrate a composite BPEL application using the Oracle Workflow Manager, BPEL, and Java Application components within the target. * Demonstrate securing this application with Oracle Identity Management’s built-in SSO. * Work with the development team to provide guidance on conversion/migration of 10G database to the BPEL/SOA/Java applications to 11G under the framework built above. * Creates complex application architectures and populates an application host /configuration matrices with appropriate strategies, timelines and cost information to increase cost efficiency and effectiveness. * Develops and designs complex multi-tier web applications; determines project requirements and functional specifications to ensure that client specifications are met. * Designs application modules that work together to produce desired product. Ensures that completed modules provide functionality described by application experts and to ensure that performance guidelines are met. * Works with product development teams and senior designers on complex projects to develop architectural requirements to ensure client satisfaction. Works with third party vendors to develop software and/or integrate their software into company products.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of application architecture and/or product development experience * Experience working with software systems, applications, network markets, * Experience working with application design principles and product configurations * Experience working with appropriate programming languages, operating systems, hardware and software to understand product line software and hardware * Experience working with client server environments, scheduling software, and other related technologies * Experience working with software development life cycle and client requirements * Oracle Fusion Middleware/SOA suite 11G, BPEL, Enterprise Service Bus, Weblogic, Business Process Management (Install/configure/maintain) * SOA structure and administration processes and tools * Knowledge of XML and XSLT * Ability to configure, implement, and administer SOA functionality in an Oracle Fusion Middleware/ Weblogic 11g environment
