Principal JAVA, J2EE HTML, BEA Weblogic, SOA Software Engineer Concurrent Technologies Corporation currently supports our military intelligence government client in many areas including Cross Domain Solutions (CDS), Information Assurance (IA), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Web Services, Cryptology, Counter Biological Warfare, as well as many other mission related activities. Due to our excellent past performance we have been awarded new work with this same client in the area of improving SIGINT capabilities for the Warfighter (Oceansurf). We seek a Principal JAVA, J2EE HTML, BEA Weblogic, SOA Software Engineers to lead & participate on teams in the development and maintenance of application software for small to highly complex computer systems or portions of large integrated systems. This position serves in a key role as a primary client interface for technical and functional issues. Specifically, this position will: . Translate detailed designs into computer software program languages, prepare detailed flowcharts, develop code, document, and test software . Identify new and emerging technologies. . Design, code, benchmark test, debug and document computer programs. Applications generally deal with utility programs, job control language, macro, subroutines and other control modules.
Qualified candidates should possess: Active and current TS/SCI with full scope polygraph clearance. . Experience in requirements analysis, software development and installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis and resolution. . At least thirteen (13) years experience in a software engineering discipline. Software engineering experience should include the use of Java, J2EE, HTML, database (Sybase, Oracle), web development, Struts, XML, experience with Service Oriented Architectures, and Web application servers like BEA Web Logic or JBoss. . A Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or related discipline may be substituted for three years of work experience. A Masters degree in any of the above disciplines may be substituted for an additional two (2) years of experience. Would you be interested in speaking with us further about this new work? Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) provides technical development, integration, and technical support to maintain operational availability of systems, while ensuring the transition to a new distributed storage and ingest architecture without mission disruption. We are providing technical expertise in support of an initiative to improve data collection, distribution, and analysis. In 2003, an analysis and production and maintenance engineering contract with our client was established to provide the most cost-efficient way to consolidate the disparate mix of analytic tools, software applications, knowledge bases and information systems that were being maintained by various contracts and in-house activities. The contract that we currently have in place with the customer is designed to build upon this effort. Our team provides the government client with expertise to ensure life cycle support to analytic software applications and databases in support of the SIGINT Directorate. This includes daily maintenance, software upgrades to address configuration changes, sustain product viability, reduce total ownership costs, and provide emergency or crisis capabilities. In addition, our team provides support to the government in maintaining configuration control operational baselines, conducting operational test and evaluation of new capabilities to be delivered to the baseline, training, and ensuring developed capabilities meet appropriate supportability requirements. The efforts performed under this contract will encompass those tasks required to support the Management Office Mission area (T43), the Analytic Capabilities Development Office (T12), and the Information Repository Development Office (T13) organization's diverse customer base. The concept differs from typical programs in that OCEANSURF produces, supports, and operates a wide range of systems with varying capabilities, complexity, and field deployment priorities.
