Position Overview:
This is a full time FLSA exempt postion at the company Location: in Herndon, VA, the Pentagon and other Metro DC locations. The analyst will work as part of a contractor team on the staff of the Deputy Under Secretary of Navy. The position will start on 15 September 2010. Limited CONUS and OCONUS travel is expected.
MAI is seeking senior experts in Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) policy development to support the Deputy Under Secretary of the Navy (DUSN). These experts will be providing direct support for planning, and programming management, consolidation, coordination, planning, designing, and preparing of budget recommendations for Government approval based on a wide range of technical, analytical, and advisory information. MAI will support this effort with in-depth studies of analytical processes focused on issues of National Security interests.
The incumbant will report to the project manager, and will plan, outline, draft, and finalize specialized analyses, briefings, and reports in support of the Secretariat. This will include development and execution of concept evaluation plans, execution plans, event directives, information briefings, executive support, staffing plans and other supporting documents.

Qualifications
Required Skills:
> Bachelors degree
> 10 - 15 years of experience
> General knowledge of DOD and Interagency processes and decision forums to include PPBE and JCIDS
> Ability to think and write succinctly and with clarity of purpose at the post-graduate level
> Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and manage projects
> Ability to facilitate large group discussions
> Extensive experience with MS Office Suite
Desired experience:
> Experience working within interagency environment
> Working knowledge of the national MDA program and associates activities
> Experience working with Intel Community (IC) programs and processes
