Are you passionate about Gaming? Do you want to help build the platform for the next generation of PC games? The Windows Gaming eXperience (WGX) team is chartered with enabling the most compelling game experiences for PC gamers- hardcore or casual and to enable game developers.
As a Development Manager on the WGX team you will own the Xbox LIVE client for the PC including the PC Avatar experience and will primarily focus on driving Xbox LIVE experience and functionality for PC games and users. Join our team and change the world of gaming! The successful candidate will use their experience designing and shipping the Xbox LIVE client for PC through SDK's and platform components. We're looking for an experienced, development manager to help build the vision, design and drive the details. The successful candidate will work with multiple partner teams to leverage existing Xbox LIVE services as well as creating new platform features for our customers to enable a fantastic experience.
Successful candidates will have: BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field Proven C/C++/C# development experience Outstanding attractor of talent 10+ years of development experience 5+ years of experience managing Dev teams in Microsoft Passion for gaming and online gaming. Strong system design skills and experience designing and shipping software with online connectivity. Exceptionally strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with proven technical spec writing skills. Great attention to detail and excellent project management skills. Strong ability to manage complex cross team relationships and deliverables.
