POSITION SUMMARY
The Process Quality Specialist supports existing products and new product introduction, conducts internal process audits and modifies and maintains quality standards for the design and manufacture of wireless consumer electronic products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will play an integral role in maintaining ISO 9000 registration as well as setting and achieving product yield goals and improvement. The successful candidate will also lead Continuous Improvement (CIT) and Design For Manufacturing (DFM) related projects, lead scrap reduction projects and interface with supplier quality engineering on issues and drive resolution. In addition, the Process Quality Specialist will generate and maintain procedures and related document and be the lead in conducting Process Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (PFMEA) and manufacturing control plans. ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS * Engineering Degree, ideally in Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience * Three to five years of related work experience * Solid understanding of quality processes, methods and statistical tools * Background in the design or manufacture of wireless communication device * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work flexible hours when the situation arises * Six Sigma knowledge and CQE from ASQ is an added advantage
