Position Description Responsibilities include:
Agency Management Corporation as a general agent & broker has underwriting and binding authority granted by contract by five companies (non Chartis)
This position will have underwriting and binding responsibilities for the five binding contracts including production and profitability
Position includes receiving and reviewing new business applications, determining if it can be placed into one of our binding contracts. If so, this position would be responsible for quoting to retail agent timely (within our established standards
Position would also include reviewing renewal accounts (i.e. to determine if they still fit into our binding contracts, have there been loss issues to address, has there been a rate change)
Position would include marketing responsibilities to market our products by making agency calls on existing and new retail agents. Position Requirements Would prefer underwriting experience in commercial excess and surplus lines
Prior experience making agency visits
Overnight travel will be required
