Professional Services Manager
Our client is an international software manufacturer/provider with over 10,000 clients. Our client seeks a professional services manager (project manager) to report to the vice president and deliver the following: The professional services manager is responsible for the supervision of the team and ensuring utilization targets as well as revenue targets are met. The selected candidate will be actively involved in the senior management team.
The selected candidate should understand technical nature of our client while maintaining a strong commercial focus on its benefit of their key accounts. A strong understanding of traditional professional services based engagements as well as a strong understanding of project financials is required for this role. Specific requirements include:
General understanding in the areas of application development, database and system design
Sound understanding of the IT industry and the latest technologies
A high degree of computer literacy and technical competency
Excellent project management skills and the ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of the PMBOK
The ability to work in a pressure environment, according to strict deadlines.
Ability to provide technical assistance and guidance to the sales team and reseller/agent channels during the sales process
Ability to effectively manage resources to ensure that the professional team maintains a professional and efficient engagement model.
