Professional Services Solution Analyst
POSITION PROFILE
Provides technical delivery of Professional Services solutions. Provides support for customer training on PS solutions. Understands customer requirements and implements IKON-recommended enabler-based solutions. Responsible for resolving application, software and connectivity problems requiring on-site customer support and for interfacing directly with vendor support reps to isolate and solve technical issues.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyzes and documents customer technical requirements and needs.
At the direction of the Integration Services Manager, develops or contributes to Statements of Work for solutions implementation with the Solutions Consultant, vendors and customers.
Develops and executes implementation plans for selected solution and coordinates with IKON, customer and third-party resources.
Understands customer requirements for support services; may recommend and deliver billable services as appropriate.
Diagnoses and resolves application, software and connectivity problems requiring on-site support from technical operations.
Partners with the Customer Services team to resolve problems and ensure customer satisfaction.
Delivers ongoing product training for IKON sales team and customers; attends required training sessions.
May assist sales team by providing technical support in sales presentations and customized demonstrations.
Responsible for ongoing personal skill development through the attainment of appropriate certifications and attendance at training.
Provides ongoing fee-based post-implementation support as required.
Performs daily administration of Professional Services system of record.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications)
College degree (computer science, information systems, engineering) or equivalent experience in a related field required.
Minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience including a demonstrated track record of success in technical sales support and/or industry related experience, 3 years preferred.
Requires minimum of 5 years of experience with Windows and\or Unix operating systems.
Requires minimum of 5 years of experience with Microsoft operating systems and networking.
Requires extensive knowledge of TCP/IP protocol; requires knowledge of networking hardware and ability to use that knowledge to configure and maintain installed systems.
Possesses ability to prepare/provide/convey diversified information that may be of a technical nature.
Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills and excellent customer service skills.
Proficiency in Office Suite required
MCITP, MCP, CDIA+, MS Visual Basic, Pearl and Java scripting certifications preferred
