Program Manager reports directly to Foundation President. Responsible for the successful management and execution of ICPF programs, projects and events in key operational and mission areas in support of Foundations President.
Principal Duties:
Educational & Programming Outreach 1. Work with universities and technical school faculty, vendors and staff to develop and maintain programs. 2. Maintain and promote job/career portal to faculty students and investors. 3. Identify opportunities and maintain a related schedule for the industry to recruit students at Job Fairs and related events at university level packaging schools and educational institutions benefiting from ICPFs asset donations. 4. Administer the plan for ICPF partner participation at student recruiting events at schools, involving ICPF staff and local top donors and or board members to help promote industry career opportunities. 5. Seek out internship program opportunities and develop ways to promote to industry donors and institutions of higher education. 6. Assist in planning ICPF involvement and periodically attend college and university career events (i.e. dedication ceremonies etc.). 7. Assist in promoting job opportunities in the industry to students 8. Assist in the planning and execution and attend ICPFs annual Teleconference to colleges & universities in the U.S. 9. Assist in preparations, the management, promotion and execution of ICPFs events, such as the Annual Chair Affair in promoting the industry to design & architectural students through a contract with AIAS.
Event Management & Fundraising 1. Supervise logistical aspects of events and fund raising programs,i.e.., hotel & restaurant negotiations, registration, etc. 2. Assist in planning and providing support in all fundraising initiatives
Marketing & Communications 1. Promote the programs using social networks, e-mails, letters, website and press releases prepared for release by President. 2. Maintain and keep all sections of website updated every two weeks. 3. Preparation, layout and distribution of publications & newsletters both electronic and printed. 4. Prepare, for President, press releases and articles to promote programs. 5. Oversee preparation & distribution of marketing materials to promote programs.
Investor/Donor Relations/Financial/Administration 1. Develop/Prepare timely correspondence on programs, for authorization by the president, to acknowledge investors and to keep them apprised of ICPF initiatives and accomplishments. 2. Maintain ICPFs fund-raising system to track and ensure correct data entry of contributions and payments. 3. Work with the President in preparing new and ongoing marketing materials which includes ad campaigns, e-newsletters, social networks, printed newsletters and other marketing mechanisms to keep investors informed, involved and committed. (i.e. Teleconference, NY event, job portal, etc.) 4. Regularly highlight the work and or involvement of specific top donors utilizing the website, etc. 5. Work with the President to carry out new strategies to involve top donors from the supplier sector -- those companies that sell products and services to the corrugated industry. 6. Help handle financial tasks, to include bank deposits and monthly financial report preparation for the accountant. 7. Work with the ICPF President and accountant in preparing for the annual audit of the Foundations financial statements. 8. Provide general office support & administration.
Other Duties 1. Travel 3-6 times a year (mostly one or two night trips, except for the fall and spring meetings that normally are three or possibly four nights) 2. Supervision of contractors (website, publications, videos, teleconferencing, fundraising events, office operations, etc.). 3. Prepare agendas and meeting minutes and assist in follow up and related project work.
Requirements:
Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor?s degree or higher, minimum of 3-5 years of association, foundation, business or government experience or equivalent.
Responsibilities & Skills: 1. Project Administrator: Develop and implement multiple projects from idea to completion. Detail oriented and able to bring multiple projects to completion on time. 2. Collaboration: Work with Foundation president, Foundation volunteers, contractors/vendors, educators, allied organizations and others in program/project planning and execution. 3. Budget Management: develop and maintain project budgets. 4. Website Management: Knowledge and experience in managing websites are a plus. 5. Knowledge & experience in managing events. 6. Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database applications software (Working knowledge or exhibited capability in quickly learning Excel, Power Point & Adobe required.) 7. Excellent business writing and verbal communication skills. 8. Knowledge and experience in developing & managing marketing and communication programs and outreach (i.e. publications, e-outreach, etc.) are a plus. 9. Ability to work indepednently as well as in a team environment.
