Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications Modify existing databases and database management systems or direct programmers and analysts to make changes Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project
Certification in Documentum Technical Fundamentals, Documentum Foundation Classes (DFC) Programming, and WDK Fundamentals/Advanced is highly desirable.
The applicant must be familiar with Documentum Developer Studio and Customizations and Developing Web Applications.
Prior experience with database or collaborative applications development, web applications development and web services within the Documentum architecture.
At least 5 years of increasingly responsible professional experience and proven Documentum product knowledge, including latest version on the market. The five years must show progressively increasing levels of skill requirements and complexity of work.
The candidate must have experience with Documentum 6.5 components: WebPublisher, Webtop, Content server, Composer, Application Builder, Web Development Kit (WDK), Site caching Services, DQL, XDQL, and XQuery.
Advanced skills using Documentum Foundation Classes and Services (DFC and DFS) are required.
J2EE programming experience coupled with a strong knowledge of standard Java frameworks.
Strong skills in Java, J2EE, JSP, JSF, SOAP, SOA, Web services, Documentum Object Relational Model, Eclipse, Composer, Application Builder, Application Installer, WDK, Webtop, Site Caching Services, Documentum Administrator, WebTop and Content Server customization experience.
The primary role will consist of evaluating, developing, and implementing technical solutions in support of the Documentum team. The individual will be expected to partner closely with applicable project teams to complete deliverables across the entire project life-cycle spectrum (detailed design, configuration, development, test/validation, etc.);
Responsibilities include oversight of development quality, management of development deliverables, developing technical designs, software coding, component assembly, testing, and debugging;
Application design and development of solutions based on Documentum products, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs;
Integration of Doucmentum with external Java based applications;
Development of Documentum Foundation Services (DFS) to be used by external applications.
Analyze and define business requirements and prepare technical design and technical specifications. documents.
