Programmer/AnalystOther Hillsboro, OR, United States Job Summary: Position will be responsible for designing and developing web based data collection and analysis tools, managing a large MySQL data warehouse, writing custom SQL for report generation, managing a small group of Linux servers, working with internal and external customers, working with cross-functional CPI (Continuous Process Improvement) teams to understand problems and design/develop/debug/implement lasting solutions. Job Qualifications: Required: Strong skills and knowledge of Perl 5, MySQL (management and SQL), Apache, Linux and SECS/GEM. Basic understanding of PHP, CVS, and statistics and common statistical tools/methods (i.e. DoE, SPC, ... ). Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with operations staff, equipment support personnel and engineering peers in a dynamic, team based and results oriented environment. Preferred:Strong skills and knowledge of C/C++, SW tool “front-end” development and previous experience in a semiconductor wafer fabrication manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates will be passionate about data integrity, clean information flow and tool/database robustness. They will also be skilled at comprehending problems and solutions from the tool/database user’s perspective. Work Environment: Office position. Candidate must be willing to carry a pager/mobile phone and support tools/databases while off shift. Some travel likely (domestic and/or international).
