JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Provide statistical programming support and validation and help set specifications of analysis datasets, pooled datasets, statistical tables, summaries, figures, and listing for Phase I to IV clinical trials. - Employ standardized programs - Provide input into planning documents such as protocols, validation plans, and report analysis plans, - Provide outputs for clinical study reports, integrated summaries, and electronic submissions- Respond to health authority inquiries for submitted dossiers - Establish and maintain sound working relationships and effective communications within biostatistics, statistical reporting, and clinical research- Assists in the development of interim, annual, and final Phase I, II, III, and IV study reports, and Data Safety Monitoring Board reports which will involve biostatistical analyses and SAS dataset documentationREQUIRED EXPERIENCE:- A minimum of six years of programming experience with at least four years of SAS programming experience in a medical setting, preferably working with clinical trial data - Work experience in an analytic/information systems position in a healthcare organization. - Extensive experience working with health-related data; knowledge of FDA electronic submission standards (CDISC, CDASH) desired - Experience with Oracle Clinical strongly preferred- Strong SAS data step skills MERGE, arrays, functions, formats/informats, special variables, SAS/MACRO- Strong skills in using descriptive statistical procedures - Experience with PROC REG, PROC GLM, PROC LOGISTIC, SAS ODS, PROC SQL, PROC REPORT, PROC TABULATE - Experience with performance issues of very large datasets processing and complex data manipulation is highly desirable- Familiarity with STATA or other statistical tool(s) are desirable. - Advanced knowledge of MS Access and Excel is advantageous.
