The Project Coordinator will perform administrative tasks and basic analytics in support of a LOB or project team. Responsibilities include coordinating communications, conducting research, attending/scheduling meetings, preparing meeting/marketing materials, coordinating correspondence, creating status reports and conducting basic analysis. To fulfill this role the project coordinator will:
* Coordinate project information/data and track project status, tasks, timeline and follow-up items. Record project information in a database or project schedule. * May also perform other duties including scheduling, making arrangements for travel and meetings, and managing expenses and time keeping. * Schedule and attend meetings with the project teams. Draft meeting notes, log issues and action items that arise. Also, handle correspondence relating to project issues. * Prepare ad hoc reports and presentations, which document the project's status (i.e. timeline, budget, and a synopsis and detail on the effectiveness of the project). * Assist Project Manager by conducting research and performing basic analyses of information or data. * Provide any other ad hoc additional support to project team, such as technical or administrative activities.
Qualifications
* Typically Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or High School diploma with relevant experience. * 1 yr related work experience
*Strong organizational skills
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
*Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
*Proactive problem-solving and analytical orientation
*Solid project coordination/management skills
*Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment
*Willingness to learn, adapt to new responsibilities and work extended hours to meet deadlines
