General Summary:
Remote position working out of a home office (no relocation necessary) with approximate travel of 50% required. This consultant is responsible for overseeing the implementation of bed management software product for clients in the healthcare industry by providing education, consultation, support, & assistance.
May perform one or more of the following duties:
q Implementation for new and existing client contracts with varying degrees of complexity including large-scale multi-facility accounts.
q Will engage in pre-sales planning and will be the primary contact person during an implementation.
q Conducts onsite visits throughout the implementation to assess project status, assist in system build, and to provide education and support.
q Assesses clients work process and makes recommendations for improvement.
q Prepares and manages project plan and monitors timelines throughout the implementation.
q Provides client education and training via telephone (voice & web tools).
q Coordinates between all team members to ensure successful implementation.
q Conducts weekly conference calls with sites and prepares status reports.
q Works with clients to troubleshoot system functionality issues.
q Analyzes data received from client/system to troubleshoot system problems/operation.
q Execute utilities and perform database checks for implementing sites.
q Work with client to remove barriers and obstacles preventing effective system usage.
q Responsible for learning and implementing new software updates and integrating latest software versions into current processes.
q Other implementation related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
Bachelor degree required, preferably in MIS or healthcare related field. A combination of experience and project management training and certification may be substituted for the degree. Minimum of five years experience in implementing and managing software implementations as an analyst or project manager. Experience with patient throughput and bed management required.
