Project QA Analyst II (Sports Media/Graphics/Web/IT)
Quality Assurance Analyst to support our Network Control System applications. Work closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Application Support, Developers, and Product Owners to ensure application functionality is valid and accurate.
This is a project position with an estimated length of 2 years.
Responsibilities
Defect reporting and defect fix verification
Identify higher-risk aspects, set priorities, and determine scope and limitations of tests
Review specifications and requirements prior for ambiguity and completeness
Determine test environment requirements (hardware, software, etc.)
Determine test data requirements
Execute tests, evaluate findings and report results
Manage bugs and fixes within testing cycles
Maintain and update test ware through life cycle of the application
Support of the Software Development Methodologies
Basic Qualifications
< decent knowledge of trends, technology advances, new products, and best practices in application QA processes and standards
At least 2 1/2 years of experience in a structured software/testing environment with some exposure/experience to test tools; i.e. test automation, load/performance testing
Some knowledge or exposure to programming language(s), relational databases, and new technologies; i.e. .NET, J2EE
Anticipates and attempts to prevent semi-complex problems; solves problems when they arise with an appropriate solution
Basic knowledge of QA methodologies/tools
Familiar with HP ALM/Quality Center Basic SQL knowledge

Knowledge of our Business practices
Preferred Education
BS, BA, or advanced degree in computer science, engineering, communications or related field, or relevant work experience.
