Project - Sr Application Developer - Ad Sales (Sports Media/Graphics/Web/IT)This is a project position with an estimated length of 14 months.
Responsibilities
Understand the business needs of Ad Sales and their system implications through collaboration with business analysts, UX designers, end users, existing systems and technical documentation. Develop enterprise applications in Silverlight using c#, web services and Object/Relational Mapping technology. Create and maintain technical design documentation. Develop in adherence to the specified designs, standards and best practices. Work collaboratively as part of a software development team. Work independently with minimal supervision. Create and execute unit tests. Mentor junior developers. Troubleshoot and performance tune application code at all layers of the stack.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 6 years of related work experience performing systems analysis, design and/or development of mid to large scale business applications. Minimum of 4 years of experience developing primarily using .net. Working knowledge of industry standard methodologies. Working knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Expert at Object Oriented Analysis (OOA), Object Oriented Design (OOD), transaction lifecycles, component models, and software design patterns. Experience in Object Oriented Programming with the following: Silverlight, c#, .net, Object Relational Mapping, MVVM. Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling experience. Experience with Agile development. Experience and proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a software development team. Strong foundation in enterprise systems design. Good knowledge of architecting component based applications. Experience in configuring development and deployment environments.
Preferred Qualifications
vb.net, ASP.net, WPF or WinForms, Expression Blend. PRISM, MVVM Light experience. Oracle database design and development. Experience with Media, Ad Sales.
Required Education
B.S. in Computer Science or related field.
