LMP2P tool experience a plus. Specific Job Description Responsible for material cost estimate of a Bill of Material (BOM) in support of MS2 Undersea Systems capture activities. Compiles material cost in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) requirements utilizing historical purchase order data, supplier quotes, engineering estimates and applies appropriate analysis techniques to adjust for quantity or time frame differences. The position requires interface with all functional organizations (program management, engineering, pricing, operations, finance and sourcing)to fully understand ground rules and assumptions, as well as participate in management reviews and customer fact-finding meetings supporting the material basis of estimate. Standard Job Description Develops, plans and schedules proposals. Compiles cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications. Coordinates the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments. Researches and analyzes historical data, develops cost models to support proposal efforts. Coordinates activities and participates in fact-finding meetings. Participates in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives. Participates as a member of the contract negotiating team.
