Description

FedSys areas of experience and expertise include information technology, language services, intelligence, security, program management, customs and border management, and staffing. Services include requirements analysis, engineering, facility and systems design, systems integration and installation, customization, programming, maintenance, support, translation and interpretation, and training. Description Write and edit past performance volumes, management or technical proposal sections, Task Order and RFI responses, White Papers, resumes, or other proposal narratives in response to Federal Government solicitations. Duties and Responsibilities •Interpreting solicitation requirements •Organizing, and writing proposal sections •Interviewing SMEs •Ensuring information is accurate, complete, and compliant with RFP requirements and editorial specifications to include in-depth reviews for grammar, punctuation, style and form •Coordinate/follow the direction of the Proposal Manager and Coordinator to assure format and content compliance, reconciling them with internal and external Customer standards and desires •Must be able to assemble graphics using creative graphic design and layout; edit inputs as needed, proofread, organize, and understand large volumes of proposal data using desktop publishing software. Must have the ability to work with varied proposal efforts; evaluate requirements for proposals; work with and/or set production schedules •Support proposal process requirements and kickoff meeting •Coordinate data flow/document configuration management •Retrieve boilerplate, background, or reference material related to past experience, awards, key personnel, and previous proposals • Manage scheduling of document processing, editing, production and graphics support •Coordinate template requirements from RFP data •Track production schedule, and coordinate proposal close-out
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities •Strong editorial skills for identification of grammatical, typographical, or compositional errors •Ability to edit hard copy or electronic files and knowledge of proofreading/copy editing marks •Requires a high degree of proficiency and knowledge with 2003/2007 MS Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access as well as other media and desktop publishing programs •Candidate must possess strong oral and written skills in English •Candidate must possess the ability to work in a high-stress, rapid paced environment requiring the provision of high-quality reports, and other products and services on short notice Requirements •Must be able to pass a background and drug screening •Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration or related field •A minimum of 2 years of related (proposal development within a government contractor) experience •Shipley training preferred Location Crystal City
