We currently produce and sell an ever growing fleet of Unmanned Aircraft Systems that are low-cost, long-endurance, and have low personnel requirements. These UASs provide a no-runway launch, unprecedented stabilized day and night video for ISR, robotic flight control, and a no-nets capture.

Opportunity Details:
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support engine testing and propulsion related research and production.
• Troubleshoot engines & support Production in solving any assembly/ configuration, quality, performance, or inspection problems
• Perform teardowns and forensic analysis of engines returned from field.
• Build up engines and associated systems for testing and production as needed.
• Build test fixtures such as support brackets, test stands, wiring harnesses, etc.
• Assist in performing tests, including monitoring, data collection, data reduction, and report writing.
• Perform general shop clean-up and organization.
Knowledge - Skills & Abilities Required:

• Five or more years experience in a broad range of topics including: Small Engine technology (including carburetors, fuel injection, ignition, etc.), basic electrical systems
•Facility with the following tools: Engine analysis tools, oscilloscope, multimeter, Mill, lathe, drill press, and non-CNC metal working shop tools
• Desired experience: Engine dynamometer, high performance combustion engine tuning, exhaust gas analysis equipment, RC aircraft and engines
• Computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude are required
Education:

2-Year Technical Degree and/or A&P license and/or specialized engine related training.

Degree in Engine Technology, 2-stroke performance tuning, etc. is a plus.
