Title: PS Consultant (II) Location: Chile-Santiago Position Description The Application Services Consultant is responsible for the analysis, design and development of well-defined methods, procedures and programs in the delivery of NCR software solutions. The Application Services role provides leadership in the definition, selection and implementation of application development environment(s), methodologies, and tools that support NCR's computing strategy. The Application Services Consultant also provides application prototyping and benchmarking services to prove the viability of new technology solutions to our customers. This role accepts responsibility for the effective and efficient use of application development practices.
Key Areas of Responsibility Manages the Application Development Environment Consulting and ADE methodology Consults on ADE Life Cycle Management Develops ADE integration plans Designs, recommends, and implements new environments based on needs assessment Develops application solution plans Customizes and implements service offerings Validates solutions/applications Researches methodologies Maintains and builds relationships Gathers information to determine customer needs Establishes working relationship with Solution Team Validates solutions with users Manages projects Transfers knowledge Develops application solution plans Consults on integration plans Designs solutions Ensures customer participation Performs risk assessment Delivers presentations Organizes and conducts training workshops Facilitates meetings Sells services Scope Generates revenue ranging from $280,500 to $352,500 per year. Average number of billable hours ranges from 1500 to 1700 annually. Work Environment Team Focus Works within a project team environment where results will be based on cooperation with and/or influence of others. Projects are normally within the context of a solution team, internal team, or other NCR business units.
