Public Sector BAO: Application Architect
Job description The PS BAO Application Architect designs Business Analytics & Optimization applications. This role performs critical evaluation and selection of the software and hardware components of the application, as well as evaluation and selection of development methodologies and tools for the specific project. This role is responsible for performance, availability and scalability of the applications, and maintains the functional interface to the application infrastructure. This role will lead assessments, and the delivery of the solution & technical architecture (solution outline, macro design, micro design phases especially).
Required
Bachelor's Degree
At least 3 years experience in expert knowlege of Business Intelligence Industry processes
At least 3 years experience in hands-on technology and leadership experience in Data Warehouse projects
At least 3 years experience in hands-on developed project deliverables using formal/structured methodology
At least 3 years experience in full life cycle BI development, design, tuning and support
At least 3 years experience in leading teams
At least 3 years experience in improving and refining the application model, assessing value of potential enhancements and incorporating into the application architecture
At least 3 years experience in building web applications using application frameworks
At least 3 years experience in Oracle 11.x
At least 3 years experience in IBM assets as well as applied experience creating XSL transformations
Readiness to travel Up to 5 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
U.S. citizenship required
English: Basic knowledge
Preferred
English : Intermediate
