Job Description QA Engineer We are currently looking for a QA Engineer for our Cedar Rapids location! Due to the drive to increase the level of testing for Go Daddy applications, Go Daddy is growing our Quality Assurance Team. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and have a strong drive for quality and completeness, then we want to see your resume. We are looking for a well rounded engineer with a solid foundation in quality assurance and software development. What does the job entail? • Software test engineer assigned to software development projects utilizing both open source and .Net development platforms. • Specifically, provide all functional and technical testing of software programs and systems. • Construct and utilize test plans to effectively test changes (including regression testing and coordination of interfaces) and analyze results as compared to business requirements. • Design and develop automated test scripts for functional and regression testing, including development of test clients for verification of middleware components and web services. • Design and build automated tools for verification of large-scale data migration projects. • Monitor testing progress and problem resolution/prioritization. • Facilitate communication between business and technical staff to ensure effective and efficient implementation.
