Description: We are recruiting for a Quality Analyst in Payer Services to support the overall quality initiatives of the software development teams by developing application requirements, use cases, and test plans for the product suite. Additionally, this position provides hands-on testing of software applications, development of automated test scripts, and management of software defect logs.
Responsibilities Include:
. Work with project teams to define and document detailed application requirements, functional use cases, and measurable test plans. . Setup test cases (including automated scripts), run tests, and document testing results, including defects and quality metrics. . Research and develop an understanding of marketing requirements and product features, including how the products are being used and what performance requirements must be met. . Identify, document, and implement required process improvements within the Quality Assurance team and the overall organization.
Job Requirements: Required Skills . Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience . 2-5 years experience in a technical discipline, quality assurance department, software testing, or equivalent. . Experience in Healthcare systems or software is a plus. . Must be fluent in all Microsoft Desktop applications, including Word, Visio, and Excel. Additionally, candidates should be familiar with the Windows operating systems. . Ability to demonstrate expertise in Linux, UNIX operating systems a plus. . Ability to demonstrate expertise in Internet Technologies, Web Services a plus. . 2+ years experience with Test Director, QuickTest Professional or similar test management/automation tools. . Ability to demonstrate expertise in SQL Server, Oracle or other (RDBMS) a plus. . 2+ years experience with programming in Java is desirable. . Degree in computer science, software development, or technical communications. . CSQA, CSTE certifications a plus.
Academic and professional qualifications . Successful completion of a Bachelors Degree or relevant Business or Healthcare experience.
Experience . Typically requires 2 - 5 years of experience.
Travel requirements . Willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time
