As Quality Assurance Analyst, reporting to the QA Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the quality of SilkRoad's GreenLight web application meets specified standards and client requirements. As part of our QA team, you will need to understand both the production process and the product to develop and execute effective, in-depth test plans. Effective communication and advanced problem solving skills are a must for this role. Primary Objectives The efficient and accurate execution of the Quality Assurance Analyst duties is the key to ensuring that client expectations are met. The Quality Assurance Analyst helps to improve and maintain product quality by promoting the early and economical detection and correction of software defects. Responsibilities * Develop, implement and maintain manual testing methodologies and systems to ensure the accuracy and stability of the application * Write detailed test cases based on documented requirements and standards * Thoroughly test the product through all phases of development * Communicate testing activities and findings in a clear and concise manner using our test case management and issue tracking tools * Contribute to process improvements and refinement of QA practices * Enter and maintain testing data in a master QA database * Multi-task between testing of current release, writing and maintaining test scripts, and verifying updates to earlier supported versions * Contribute to the implementation of automated testing Required Skills

Required Experience
Educational Requirements * Minimum of a 2-year computer-related diploma Work Experience * 1 or more years of software QA experience * Experience and/or training in software development an asset * Familiarity with translating business / functional requirements into test cases * Experience with automated testing tools is a plus Location * Edmonton, Alberta * Relocation expenses will not be reimbursed Job Location Edmonton, AB, CANADA Position Type Full-Time/Regular
