Analyzes business processes and performs needs assessments in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.
Interprets business needs and translates them into system requirements.

Job Description : QA Tester
We are seeking a Software Quality Assurance Analyst / Tester willing to work on a variety of projects for State Healthcare customers. An intermediate-level professional, the Quality Assurance Analyst is a fully qualified individual producer who applies a broad knowledge of systems analysis concepts, practices and procedures. Under moderate guidance, this position carries out procedures to ensure that all products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements. The analyst is competent to work on complex assignments independently, and is capable of handling heavy workloads with stringent deadlines.
Required:
A Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years experience performing software quality assurance testing.
Solid understanding of black-box, functional, system, regression and user acceptance testing.
Demonstrable experience designing and executing comprehensive test cases
Experience documenting defects with systems, and assisting with root cause analysis of complex testing / technical issues.
Strong knowledge and experience with performing functional/regression testing, verifying functionality matches the specifications of the functional requirements.
Familiarity with QA processes and methodologies including participation in requirements sessions, use case reviews, design meetings, QA task planning, work effort estimations and risk mitigation skills.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing, by phone, and in person
Proven track record to work independently as well as across product teams
Must have a can do attitude.
Desired:
Prior Pharmacy experience, US Healthcare experience or Medicaid program policy knowledge.
Solid understanding of white-box, performance and automated testing.
Proven ability to perform comprehensive data integrity testing.
Ability to Write test plans to control the scope and risks for a release.
Experience developing and executing automated test suites
Experience diagnosing, reporting, tracking and resolving quality issues
Experience with QualityCenter and Rational tools
Knowledge of CMMI life cycle methodologies.
Intermediate SQL skills
