Detailed Description
Develops, evaluates, revises, and applies technical quality assurance protocols/methods to inspect and test in-process raw materials, production equipment, and finished products. Ensures activities and items are in compliance with both company quality assurance standards and applicable government regulations. Performs analysis and identifies trends in the inspection of finished products, in-process materials and bulk raw materials, and recommends corrective actions when necessary. Ensures that established manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control procedures are followed. May assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards, such as GMPs and ISO regulations. Evaluates and analyzes the efforts in organizing, documenting, and interpreting inspection support documents and records.
Job Requirements
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years relevant work experience. BS/BA preferred.

Detailed Job Description:
o Work with QSE Director on the Operations QMS Strategy; goals and objectives for development and improvement o Lead the technical development of Operations Quality Key Performance Metrics: Define metrics, instrument supply chain, analyze data, report out; these include metrics such as 0-7 Day reliability; 8-90 Day, and 8+ Day reliability. o Focal point and technical lead, with the QMS contributors within the QSE team, of critical QMS processes. Help develop the processes, define the process performance metrics, and ensure the improvement of these processes over time. These include Stop Ship/Purge process, CPAS Process, CIC Process, Post Pack Audit Process, PITT Process; includes technical oversight of the tools used to track each of these quality processes within Operations. o Assist the QSE Director, as needed, on customer escalations to provide a comprehensive and consistent response with regard to QMS processes and policies. o Serves as the technical Quality Operations rep in various Operations Product Team, Supply Chain team, as well as technical teams outside of Operations such as the various Product Quality Management Teams in Systems Group. o Attend, as necessary, key product quality meetings, including Ops Technology Leadership Forum; PQMT Technical Alignment; AFR/ASIR Goal Review Meeting. o Work with QSE Director on the organization and agendas for weekly QMS team meetings.
Required Qualifications:
o Knowledge and experience in quality engineering and quality management systems and methodologies o Knowledge and experience in manufacturing of electrical/electronic assemblies o Knowledge in Statistics, Process, and/or Process Capability assessment o Knowledge and experience with Continuous Improvement , Design of Experiments, and Six Sigma methodologies o Expertise in the use of MS Excel, MS Word, and/or equivalent StarOffice tools o Fluent English speaker
Desired Qualifications:
o Familiar with Six-Sigma methodologies o Knowledge with ISO9000 requirements and deployment o Ideal candidate will be ASQ certified in a quality discipline
Education and Experience:
o 3-5 Years experience in design or manufacturing of electronics products o B.S. Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering
