Quality Assurance Specialist II

This position will report to the C5ISR, Electronics and Infrastructure Solutions (CEIS) Quality Director and will be responsible for all quality assurance and quality control requirements for the Automated Installation Entry (AIE) program. Incumbent is responsible for performing the following functions with respect to the AIE program:
1. Performing internal auditing and reporting on internal audits.
2. Resolving non-conformities from internal and external audits.
3. Managing control of nonconforming product.
4. Preparing material for and presenting management reviews of quality at the program level.
5. Managing and facilitating Preventive and Corrective Action Requests (PARs & CARs) processes.
6. Ensuring program personnel are effectively trained on QA and QC.
8. Preparing AIE program and personnel for ISO 9001 audit.
9. Performing weekly and monthly reporting for QA/QC.
10. Identifying suitable process measurement parameters and analyzing and reporting on collected measurements.
11. Identifying and managing inspection and test requirements.
12. Implementing and managing quality control measurements and reporting.
13. Administering Quality Management System (QMS) document control within AIE program.
14. Overseeing calibration and testing program.

III. Requirements:
Ability to acquire and maintain U.S. government security clearance and/or Common Access Card (CAC) should it be required by the position.
Ability to acquire and maintain corporate credit card should it be required by the position.
High school diploma or equivalent and six years, Associates degree and four years or Bachelors degree and two years relevant quality assurance experience
Formal training in and/or experience with the development and implementation of ISO 9001:2008 policies and procedures

Skills to plan, monitor and perform responsibilities indicated by the required functions of the position.
Ability to understand and facilitate resolution of complex technical and process issues.
Strong oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and superior organizational abilities.
Experience in Continuous Process Improvement (CPI), Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and other CPI methods.
Experience with statistical process control and other quantitative analysis methods.
