Organization(s): US ARMY IMCOM - USAG YAKIMA TRAINING CENTER, Directorate Of Plans, Trng, Mob & Security, Range Division DUTY LOCATION: YAKIMA, WA About the Position: You will serve as a Quality Assurance Specialist for the Multi-Purpose Range Complex (MPRC) at the YAKIMA TRAINING CENTER, at YAKIMA, WA which is located in south central Washington State, 145 miles south east of Seattle. The population of YAKIMA County is approximately 226,000. Adequate housing is available for purchase, but rentals are limited. In addition to public and parochial schools, there is a two-year community college, a trade school, and a private university. The climate is generally moderate and semi-arid, with mild winters and hot, dry summers. Yakima is located in the rain shadow of the Cascades, so total precipitation is relatively small. Outdoor recreational activities include skiing, hiking, camping, kayaking, fishing and hunting. Mount Rainier, the Cascade mountains, and Wenatchee National Forest are only a short drive away.
