USACC SWA - Kuwait supports all the contracting services for Area Support Group Kuwait and its tenant units. USACC SWA KU is a team with a mix of military and DA civilians. As a team unit on Camp Arifjan, we work closely on many issues affecting soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines, and DoD civilians. This position provides an opportunity to join an organization of dedicated military and civilian personnel who are working side-by-side as professionals committed to supporting the Warfighter. Specialized experience is defined as experience related to quality assurance functional programs; knowledge of acquisition quality assurance concepts; skills in the electronics, logistics, supply and military vehicle commodity areas, including product characteristics, special processes, inspection and test techniques; knowledge of practices and policies and procedures related to functional and administrative activities such as contract administration, engineering, production, procurement, logistics and supply. NO EDUCATION SUBSTITUTION. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: You must possess: Level II Acquisition Certification in Production, Quality and Manufacturing. ANTHRAX: As a Condition of Employment, employee is required to take the series of Anthrax Vaccine Immunizations including annual boosters. This may also include other immunizations that may in the future be required for this position, or for a position the employee may fill as an Emergency Essential alternate. Failure to take the immunizations may lead to the employee's removal from this position or separation from the Federal service. Locality pay does not apply in the overseas area. In the overseas areas, access for civilian employees and their families to military medical and dental treatment facilities is on a space-available and reimbursable basis only. Medical care may be provided by host nation providers. The availability and level of care at host nation medical facilities will vary by location. Movement overseas may require you to initiate a change in your health benefits plan to ensure coverage. Temporary Duty (TDY) travel is 15 percent.
