Major Duties: MAJOR DUTIES: The primary purpose of this position is to perform as the Government Representative and Aviation Maintenance Manager relative to the enforcement of contract quality requirements for the Contract Administration Service (CAS) at the Air Force Flight Test Center. Performs as the Quality Program Manager and Aviation Maintenance Manager in one or more contractor facilities on contracts involving the acquisition of complex, high value major weapons systems vital to national security and/or support services contracts. Duties require establishing a planned, systematic approach of quality assurance oversight, to ensure supplies and services acquired under government contracts conform to the contract's quality requirements throughout the item's life cycle. Duties include: planning, developing, organizing, administering, and evaluating a comprehensive Quality Assurance surveillance plan and Aviation Maintenance Manager program. Performs audits, analysis and investigation of adverse quality trends or conditions and applies Corrective Action Requests (CAR) on product defects, contract non-compliance, and managerial inadequacies. The duties of this position require analytical ability combined with knowledge and application of quality assurance principles and techniques as related to aircraft maintenance and ground operations. Qualifications: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level close to the work of this job that has given you the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform. Typically we would find this experience in work within this field or a field that is closely related.
