Position Description As a detail-oriented and highly motivated self-starter, you will be responsible for providing analytical and technical support to the various user groups within annuity administrative operations. Using your analytical skills you will be making recommendations and improvements to departmental processes and applications.
You will be assisting in analyzing technical needs and developing specifications for system modifications, enhancements and new product features. You will be reviewing customer requirements and developing business requirement documents for system modifications. Using your systems knowledge you will be creating test plans and test scripts from requirements; utilizing available testing tools where applicable to aid in testing. You will be responsible for executing plans - test modifications, analyzing and verifying results. You will maintain logs, review and track errors. You will be assisting in developing and scheduling automated stress testing scripts. Monitor and report results as needed. You will obtain user agreement that system changes meet the desired specifications. You will be responsible for verifying all output for accuracy and completeness and working with appropriate business owner for signoff and approval. Position Requirements . Must have strong knowledge of systems and business functions or proven ability to achieve high level of knowledge from current industry. . Must have strong analytical skills. Must have logical approach to problem analysis and resolution. . Ability to identify and address obstacles. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. . Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to evaluate problem situations or improvement opportunities and make recommendations as applicable. . Must be prompt and accurate in analysis and evaluation of data. Creativity required in deriving solutions to problems. Utilizes knowledge of applicable testing tools and scripts to determine testing requirement for projects. . Must have experience with MS Word/Excel.
