Job Description : Position performs quality engineering activities to support low-volume manufacturing of customized machinery. Position supports locations in New Richmond and Shell Lake, WI involved in design, manufacturing and sales of packaging machines. Duties will include: work with various departments on quality planning activities for new products; develop, document and implement methods for product inspection and testing; provide support to address customer and internal quality concerns; assist with evaluting non-conformities, conducting root cause analyses, recommending preventive ad corrective actions and verifying effectiveness of actions taken; administer program for inspection and calibration of measuring and testing equipment; assist in reporting and analyzing quality issues and trends; develop, verify and validate process documentation. Job Requirements : Minimum job requirements include: B.S. in engineering or related discipline; at least 8 years of relevant work experience; experience using formal techniques (8D, 5W, Ishikawa, etc.) to define and solve problems and prevent reoccurrences; understanding of statistical methods; detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities; excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001; quality auditing experience; ability to read technical drawings.
