Quality Engineer/ Sr Quality Engineer

Major Job Duties Include:
* Support Car Multimedia (CM) customers handling 0-Mileage and Field Warranty issues at Customer Manufacturing facilities and Warranty Centers.
* Oversee, edit, present and explain 8D's Corrective Actions as related to quality issues as well as contain suspect material if spill occurs.
* Attend customer meetings as required and work with Bosch manufacturing plants to resolve quality problems as well as understand customer requirements.
* Track all issues until closure using the Bosch Quality (IQIS) system and coordinate with CM Product Team to improve customer satisfaction.
* Must have good computer skills, people and customer relationship skills. Be able to effectively communicate and have knowledge of customer assembly processes.
* Products include Next Generation Radio Navigation system delivered to General Motors.
* Engineer will be working within the GM Quality System (GART and PRR) and troubleshoot issues with CM engineering.

Minimum:
* Bachelors Degree in Engineering
* 3+ years experience in quality related fields.
* Experience working with OEM Corrective Action Plans (8D, 5 why, Deep dive, etc.)
* Must have good computer skills and work well with all levels of manufacturing.
* Ability to troubleshoot issues to resolution.
* Desire to lead cross function teams to resolve a wide range of quality concerns.
* Knowledge of automotive systems and ability to handle difficult customers.

Desired:
* Previous experience with Vehicle Electronics, Car Multimedia (CM) products including Navigation Systems
* OEM Flash programming experience
* Electrical /Electronics engineer with quality experience
* Previous experience working with GM onsite or as a supplier
