Quality Production Specialist 2
Conducts quality process audits in support of the Manufacturing Self-Examination (MSE) Process with emphasis on the review and validation of product build processes, quality procedures and engineering requirements. Supports analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes. Participates in the investigation to determine root cause of nonconformance of plans. Gathers data and provides recommendations/solutions to nonconformance of plans, products or processes. Assists with the development, modification and documentation of actions to assure problem resolution or to implement corrective/preventive action. Assists in obtaining corrective action on nonconforming plans and hardware/processes and submits for review. Supports concurrence and obtains commitments to support program resolution. Participates and observes the validation associated with corrective action to assure nonconformance has been eliminated. Verifies internal replication systems adhere to Company and regulatory standards and procedures. Creates airplane specific airborne software packages. Conducts audits to ensure media is stored and handled per engineering defined requirements. Works under general supervision.
This position will require communication and coordination with the customer as well as other organizations involved with the production operations for the Apache Helicopter Programs. The position will require second shift work and will be assigned in Apache Final Assembly or Flight Test operations.

Basic Qualifications For ConsiderationDo you have a minimum of two years aerospace inspection or auditing experience?
Do you have a minimum of 6 years of general aerospace knowledge and application?
Do you have experience in aircraft investigations or root cause and corrective actions associated with aerospace production operations?
Typical Education/Experience
AA degree in related discipline and typically 1 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Job related information
Computer Skills: Must have familiarity with Mesa specific materials management systems, government property processing databases and/or non-conforming materials processing systems. Experience with the Electronic Process Evaluation System (EPES), Electronic Production Acceptance Record (EPAR), Electronic Common Action Tracking System (ECATS), Government On-Line Database (GOLD) government properties system, Manufacturing Execution System (MES) or Longbow Apache Preshop Analysis Repair Record (Laparr) system is a plus. Additional Education a plus in Apollo Root Cause Analysis, ISO9000/90001, AS9100, Program Management, Lean Manufacturing, Non-Conforming Product Control and Materials Management. The position will require second shift work and will be assigned in Apache Final Assembly or Flight Test operations.
