Quality Test Specialist 2\3
Assist with the development or improvement of inspection or test techniques. Ability to learn and deploy the principles and theory behind quality requirements. Validate designs, and develop measurement plans used for equipment or product acceptance. Establish procedures for control and configuration of test coupons. Assist with developing the set up and use procedures of specialized test or measurement equipment. Review and validate procedures for setting up and calibrating test equipment. Develop and deploy tests or inspections and data collection techniques. Assist with analysis of test, inspection or statistical data and troubleshoot anomalous result to determine product and processes conformity or assist with corrective action recommendations. Provide recommendations on new and potential changes for documentation standards. Document and communicate test, analysis or measurement results. Operate, collect, analyze and document measurements with Computer-Aided Metrology Systems (CAMS), consistent with existing Boeing Procedural Instructions. Create detailed reports that include archiving of the data. Assist with the adoption of, and support implementation of processes that apply advanced use of CAMS on the program in order to replace conventional tooling where possible and streamline aircraft assembly build processes. Assist with the creation of datasets using CATIA V5 and Enovia. Work under general direction.

Other Job related information
This position requires relocation permanently to Charleston, South Carolina. Applicant should possess strong teaming abilities to work within teaming structures. Knowledge and use of Laser Tracker, Laser Radar, Photogrammetry and/or PCMM (Portable Coordinate Measurement Machine). Must have a working knowledge of model-based software such as Spatial Analyzer or Verisurf . Experience with CATIA V5 and Enovia for model preparation and data archival preferred. General computer skills including typing and use of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Knowledge and understanding of quality documentation such as Boeing Documents and FAA Regulatory Requirements. Experienced in the use of CAMS for Tool Construction and Inspection. In-depth understanding of existing Tool Engineering and Manufacturing processes, procedures and documented requirements. Effective in problem solving and root-cause analysis. Experience in working with Aircraft Structures and Major Structural Joins preferred. Adaptive to change, strives for win-win solutions and treats others with respect & trust. Ability to work in a dynamic environment that may include shift changes to accommodate required measurements and analysis.
