Production Designer
The Production Designer will edit and produce instructional video, multimedia content, and some print page design in collaboration with content experts and project stakeholders from initial conception through scoping, storyboard drafting, developing, editing, revising, and exporting final products. The Production Designer will create action-oriented, job-embedded professional learning experiences using live action, simple animations, screen capture, or a blend of all three that engage K-12 educators and give them relevant information they can immediately apply to their professional practice.

Responsibilities of Production Designer:
Work independently or in collaboration with content experts to produce professional development media content
Edit content independently or in conjunction with other team members or based on project specs
Maintain an organized media workflow from capture to archiving
Edit or produce content according to audience, media, and content subject
Knowledge of formatting for projection, web and tablet delivery, and embedded media
Basic audio mixing
Create basic motion graphics
Basic color correction
Assist with page design layouts for handouts, graphics, and presentations
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
BA degree
1+ year of professional post-production experience
Proven experience with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, or Premiere
Demonstrated understanding of audiences and emerging content delivery methods
Fluency with MS Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in on-line and/or video design
Ability to think creatively and contribute in a collaborative environment
Demonstrated passion for education reform and an understanding of adult learning principles
Ability to learn and apply new technology and programs
