Your Responsibilities: Analyze and report point of sale and forecast data for use in inventory planning, sales analysis and forecast applications. Manage inventory at the store level and coordinate with balance of supply chain.
Essential Functions: Work with EDI and Internet point of sale programs available to Philips through our Customers, for Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and sales analysis.
Manages inventory via 2-Tier and Co-Managed Inventory applications and reports internally/externally on performance.
Utilizes VMI and CM programs to provide shipments and POS forecasts for the production and scheduling teams on a regular basis.
Review point of sale information regularly, building a database for analysis and issuing reports from the database.
Present recommendations for adjustments to forecasts based on trends, point of sale information and additional market information available.
Analyzes retail data to utilize in improving service levels, sales and problem-solving for assigned business units(s). Provides analytical support to manager in preparation for line reviews and as needed.
Partner with applicable Account Manager, assume an active role in developing go forward sales forecasts and on-going communication via SIOP (Sales Inventory Operation Planning) process. Build rapport with Wal Mart Replenishment Teams. Schedule regular meetings designed to assume all in-stock metrics are met.
Your Profile: Bachelor's degree in Business Management or relevant job experience in the Replenishment field. Three to five years of experience in inventory analysis/management, the preparation of sales analysis, forecasts within a marketing/sales environment. Microsoft Excel and Access experience required.. Experience and demonstrated knowledge with Retail Link, 2 Tier, Co-Managed CFR, Inform. Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
