POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales Incentive Support Analyst is accountable for the day to day administration of Sales Incentive Program (SIP) compensation for one region ensuring the accurate and timely payment for all eligible SIP employees in that region. In addition, they will assist in the delivery of Global Rewards partner support for the Sales and Marketing divisions, support testing of new system initiatives for the SAS system and contribute to Global Rewards projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include: * Assisting the Sales Incentive Analyst in the configuration, update, and maintenance of RIM's Sales Incentive Administration System (SAS), working with Global Incentive Design and HRIS resources to integrate changes in incentive design and program specifics as needed * Conducting build testing for SIP Administration System (SAS), creates initialization data and tests ongoing changes * Day-to-day administration of the SIP Administration System (SAS). This includes updating for new SIP plan members, calculating termination values, completing changes in team assignments and updating the SIP hierarchy for changes in organizational units. Monitors the daily audit log for errors and takes corrective action * Supporting the automated quarterly SIP payment processes by investigating and validating business payout exception requests, for Senior Sales and Finance Leaders review and approval and by investigating audit notification reports and taking corrective action * Providing direct support to sales employees and management regarding incentive related queries, or concerns by managing the RIM - SIP inbasket and responding to enquiries by phone or email * Managing the ODGR Salesand Marketing inbasket, providing triage on incoming compensation requests , gathering required information, conducting job shadows, completing role profiles and participating in job evaluations. * Completing metrics on all inquiry and SIP administration activities * Assisting with activities related to the deployment and delivery of compensation programs to the business ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS * 1-3 years experience in Compensation Analysis and/or Sales Force compensation administration/design * Certificate degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent * Previous systems testing experience an asset * Work towards Compensation Certification (CCP) an advantage * Incumbent is required to have working knowledge of the tables, calculations, hierarchies, web forms, reports and audit logs that comprise the system. Must be able to write simple adhoc reports and do table updates. Must also have a working knowledge of testing methodologies. * Must have a solid understanding of SAP, role profiling, job evaluation and job evaluation tools, and RIM salary policies. In addition, must maintain a knowledge of the various populous roles within the Sales and Marketing division. * Consultation with Sales Leaders/SIP Plan members will require an understanding of SIP design and it's link to SIP administration * Attention to details, tenacity, and analytical outlook * Strong Business Support and Customer-Focused Orientation * Confident verbal communication skills, including ability to interact with a diverse range of individuals, including employees, sales and senior sales management on detailed calculations. * Dedicated team player, who demonstrates initiative and independence If you're driven to take wireless technologies to the next level, it's time you join the team at RIM.
