Attain sales objectives for branch or area. Manage the direct sale of products or services in a limited geographic area, or responsible for a limited industry or product line on a geographic basis.
The Sales Manager is a management role within Rockwell Automation. It supports the mission, vision and values of the company by managing personnel to maintain current sales strategies as well as work towards branching out into new markets and acquiring new customers.
The decisions made in this role may have company-wide impact and could influence daily operations.
Responsibilities:
Managing personnel in channel sales, architecture and software sales, and component sales, as well as domain experts.
Developing and implementing sales strategies.
Actively seeking new business for the assigned territory.
Meeting and exceeding sales goals.
Maintain sustainable year over year market growth for Rockwell Automation's products, solutions and services. Minimum Qualifications College Diploma - mechatronics, mechanics, electrical or other related technical field
Eight years of related management and sales experience
Ability to resolve conflict situations and influence acceptance of ideas while maintaining the customer relationship
Ability to communicate complex ideas and technical information to customers and colleagues in a clear and concise manner
Ability to converse with key contacts outside area of expertise
Ability to establish operational objectives and work plans and delegate to subordinate managers
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to speak & write fluent English
Desired Qualifications:
Undergraduate University Degree - Engineering, mechatronics, mechanics, electrical or other related field
Previous channel experience
Knowledge of Rockwell Automation and Allen-Bradley product lines
Awareness of industrial Control Applications
Ability to problem solve and respond to unique situations
