Requisition Number 37236BR Position Title SAP ABAP Developer Location of Position United States-Wisconsin-Milwaukee Business Group Headquarters Relocation Eligible Yes Position Type Full Time Position Summary This individual will be responsible for design, development, support and maintenance of the organization's SAP "to be" deployed and deployed application. Position calls for this individual to work closely with cross functional resources to ensure proper solution design and integrity of SAP modules. Also the Individual will apply proven communication, analytical, technical and problem solving skills to help maximize the benefit of SAP in the company. This will be accomplished by following a formal SDLC and change control process and using industry best practices to ensure well documented, re-usable components. Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in a related field.
5+ years of experience with SAP and ABAP development.
Proficient at understanding functional specifications and writing technical specifications for required ABAP development objects.
Strong technical skills in all areas of the ABAP Workbench.
Experience with ABAP, iDocs, BAPIs, and RFCs.
Experience with SAP for designing and developing Forms, Reports, and Enhancements.
Strong system knowledge of SAP (ECC, CRM and SRM a plus).
The ability to adhere to strict development standards and conduct code reviews.
Ability to propose alternate development solutions and communicate pros and cons.
Ability to mentor other developers and consultants on the team.
Must possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must have strong problem solving skills and be able to work independently and manage a variety of tasks.
Must be comfortable with a fast paced working environment, delivering to tight deadlines and working effectively in a team.
Must be able to present ideas and technical solutions effectively to team leaders through presentations or communication.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Strong business knowledge as well as functional knowledge in SAP R3.
Experience with Netweaver technologies, ABAP Objects, Dialog programming, BDC, guided procedures and Web Dynpro development is desirable.
