Title: SAP APO CRP Lead Location: California - Oakland Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues, and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems / projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in depth evaluation of multiple factors. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. Leads and / or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Roles and Responsibilities - CRP MODULE Lead Description · Consultant should have a minimum 3-4 years of experience in APO SNP and should have worked on 2 implementation projects and a minimum of 1 support / upgrade projects. · Should have excellent knowledge on SAP APO VMI functionalities and in at least one of the projects, should have worked on VMI functionalities · Good understanding and working knowledge of the following 1. All Basic SNP concepts like Planning Area, planning books, data view, time bucket profiles, storage bucket profiles, Advance macros, fiscal year variants, background jobs, APO and ECC Master Data etc 2. Must possess good skills SNP planning solvers like SNP and Deployment Heuristics and SNP and Deployment Optimizer 3. Must have good knowledge on Core Interface and data exchange between APO and ECC 4. Should have working knowledge in ECC Sales order and STO / Purchase Order processing 5. Should have knowledge on EDI integration with SAP ECC and SAP APO and should have working knowledge of data interchange through EDI and IDOCs 6. Should be able to maintain all SNP and CIF specific APO system configurations · Should be able to analyze Business Requirement Documents, interact with the business process leads to validate the business requirement & suggest the possible solution with the use of APO SNP / VMI functionalities · Should be able to prepare the solution design pertaining to his area of operation and also able to validate the solution design through small prototyping in the systems · Should be able to identify the gaps & will offer solution to the gaps · Should be able to create necessary functional specification & coordinate with ABAP member for development and testing of the same · Should be able to create all project related documents (i.e. Configuration Doc, Functional specification doc., Test documents, Training related documents etc) · Must have god communication and team building skills
