Title: SAP BI Developer Skills: QA/PM experience and heavy manufacturing experience required Date: 8-23-2010 Description: Basic Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of SAP BI/BW back end development experience. This should include experience with BW 3.5 and later. 3+ years of experience of assessing capabilities and identifying 3+ high-level requirements Experience of at least 2 BI Projects with complete development lifecycle Hands on ABAP experience (in particular experience with transform rules) ETL, data integration and data conversion design/implementation Defining and implementing metadata management structures and processes End-user report development (from requirements gathering to design, build, test and deploy) Additional Preferred Skill Requirements: Strong communication and client-facing skills Experience with Business Objects BW Upgrade experience Functional knowledge of data structures within R/3 for multiple areas (in particular: MFG) Data Architecture (Enterprise data modeling, database design, master data management) RESPONSIBILITIES: The objective of the SAP BI Developer role is to develop SAP BI and SAP Business Objects solutions, including design, development and support for clients, and assisting with the development of BW skills amongst the BW Team through mentoring and oversight activities where appropriate. The SAP BI Developer will also perform data modeling and detailed requirements analysis for BW development projects.
